These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website runapi.ai and the RunAPI service (the "Service").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
RunAPI is a developer platform that provides access to AI generation models (video, image, music, audio, and text) through a unified REST API, with usage-based billing.
Pricing and documentation are published on this website.
3. API Usage
Use the documented API endpoints within the rate limits published for each endpoint. Each API key is subject to those limits.
You must use the Service responsibly and retrieve async tasks through webhook or polling within 24 hours.
- Rate limits apply per API key and are documented per endpoint.
- You may use, sell, publish, and distribute generated outputs commercially, subject to applicable law, third-party rights, and the applicable model's usage terms.
- Async tasks must be retrieved via webhook or polling within 24 hours.
- Abuse detection may throttle or suspend keys without prior notice.
4. Account Registration
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your API keys confidential.
You are responsible for all activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Billing and Payment
The Service is billed based on actual usage at the prices published on our pricing page. Credits you purchase are consumed by API usage. Payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not store your full card details.
Except where required by law, purchased credits are non-transferable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we will review the charge.
6. Intellectual Property
You retain your rights in the inputs you submit. Subject to applicable law and any applicable third-party terms, outputs generated through the Service are yours to use.
The Service itself, including this website, its software, and branding, is provided by RunAPI.
7. Data Processing
We process your API requests, task records, and technical logs as needed to operate, bill, troubleshoot, and prevent abuse of the Service.
We share information only with service providers that help us run the Service, under agreements that limit their use of it, or when required by law. See our Privacy Policy for information about retention, security, and your rights.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, and RunAPI's aggregate liability arising out of the Service is limited to the amounts you paid to us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 6, 7, and 8) survive.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
